Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and
Research, Faridabad successfully conducted a CDE programme titled “Pedogyaan, The Clinical
Perspective” on 20th May, 2025. CDE was organised under the able guidance of Shri D.V GuptaChairman, Shri Deepak Gupta- Secretary, Dr. C M Marya- Principal, Dr. Vishal Juneja-CEO, Dr
Bhavna G Saraf- HOD. The programme was conducted under the aegis of Indian Society of
Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPP) update the delegated on the latest clinical trends in
managing paediatric patients, to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, and enhance their clinical
skills through interactive case panel discussion and informative lectures.
The speakers for the day were Dr. Shivani Mathur and Dr. Noopur Kaushik. Dr. Shivani Mathur,
Dean- Student Affairs, Professor and Head, ITS Dental College, Ghaziabad delivered a talk on tittle
“Managing a paediatric patient- A challenge or an Art”. Second Guest Speaker was Dr. Noopur
Kaushik, Professor, Subharti Dental College, Meerut delivered a lecture on “Non-surgical
procedures including Electrosurgery and Lasers”. An interactive panel discussion on cases
regarding recent paediatric advancements was taken by. Dr. Tanu Nangia and Dr. Neha Sheoran
who are the Professor and Head, Manav Rachna Dental College and Professor, Sudha Rustagi
Dental College, Faridabad, respectively. Academician from Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical
College, Institute of Dental Sciences and Technologies, Modinagar attended the CDE Programme
and gave her valuable insights. There was also a session on E-poster presentation was held for
delegates.
A total of 90 delegates participated in the programme. Postgraduate students and interns of Sudha
Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research and various Delhi NCR colleges participated in
programme. Clinicians from various places like Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital,
Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, CHC, Khol, Rewari, Expert Dental Global, Shreeji Dental Clinic and
Implant Center also participated in the programme. The attendees appreciated the high-quality
content and the opportunity to network with peers and professionals. Overall, all delegates
thoroughly enjoyed new learning and gave positive feedback towards CDE programme.
