Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Science & Research has been established in year 2002 under the aegis of Lala Bhagwan Dass Educational Trust (Regd.), a charitable Trust registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, by Sri Dharamvir Gupta as its Founder President. Shri Dharamvir Gupta, a known educationist, carries with him vast and rich experience of managing educational institutions in engineering, management, dental and allied fields.
It is one of the leading colleges in the country engaged in quality teaching, research and extension in oral health care. College is fully equipped with ultra-modern equipments in the dental clinics, preclinical and research labs to create congenial environment for teaching, learning and patient care. Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research have been Awarded as Asia's Most Trusted Dental College 2016 (As Per Consumer Survey Report 2016 by Media Research Group, MRG) in the award ceremony held in Bangkok on 16 April 2017.The Award has been received by Mr. DEEPAK GUPTA Secretary of Trust and Dr. Garima Gupta Medical Director on behalf of institution.
New Academic Session for the 1st year BDS students started with an Orientation / Freshers Programme held on 1st October 2015 in Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research, Faridabad. This programme was attended by all the freshers, parents and the senior faculty members of the institution. Dr. Rajiv Chugh, Member Dental Council of India and SHO Bhopani, Mr. Ved Prakash were special invitees for this Orientation Programme. Principal Dr. K R Indushekar welcomed the guests and addressed the gathering. Dr. Rajiv Chugh, Member Dental Council of India and SHO Bhopani – Mr. Ved Prakash spoke on Curbing the Menace of Ragging among the students. Dr. Charu Marya Dean-Academics and Dr. Salil Pawah - HOD spoke on academic related activities of the college and introduced to all the students about Dentistry. Dr. Vishal Juneja, CEO & Member of Anti Ragging, Monitoring Committee and Anti Ragging Squad was present. Senior students were also present during this programme. Students were stressed to follow the code of conduct and the Rules & Regulations of the affiliated University, Pt. B.D.sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The programme was very well appreciated by the parents, guests and audience.
The Theme behind this event was to translate and transmit knowledge regarding Pediatric Dentistry so that Paediatricians and Paediatric Dentist can go hand in hand for the betterment of our Pediatric patients.The programme was well attended and appreciated by the Paediatricians of Faridabad city. The President and Secretary of Faridabad Paediatric Association were present and appauled our efforts. We were graced by the present of the senior most Paediatrician of Faridabad “Dr Sood’. We have been asked to conduct many more CDE programmes so that we can make a joint effort in the betterment of nature’s best creation “CHILD”.
Carrom Carnival 2012 jointly hosted by Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research Faridabad & Faridabad District Carrom Association Under the auspices of All India Carrom Federation. The all India Carrom Federation is organizing ‘Carrom Carnival’ in the Premises of your esteemed Institution from 31st March to 5th April 2012. The Carnival includes National Level Championships in different categories of age. All top players of the world including Arjuna Awardee and world champions will also be participating in this special event. The main attraction of the Carnival is “Carrom for Blind” and differently abled persons, Carrom Quiz Show, Referee/Umpire Examinations, special Award presentation ceremony, etc. It will be a theme based project.
The Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research, situated at Sector-89 Faridabad has been honoured with VIIth All India Excellence Award by the Indian Achievers Podium. Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research has been adjuged as the best private Dental College in Haryana. The College is a recipient of Certificate of excellence also. This felicitation function took place on 27th November 2011 at Deputy Chairman Hall, Constitution Club of India Rafi Marg, New Delhi
1.The new wing –Pure Vision Eye Centre & Pure Vision Opticals was inaugurated by Ch. Mahendra Pratap Singh, honorable Cabinet Minister (Govt. of Haryana) on 21st Nov 2010 at Shanti Devi Memorial Hospital associated with Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Science & Research Faridabad. The newly introduced Eye Centre provides general Eye Consultation, Computerized Eye Checkup, Cataract Surgery with Phacomulsification, Squint Surgery, Retina Consultation, Glaucoma surgery, Lasik Surgery & Corneal Problems treatment etc. 2.As per the Directions of the Honorable Supreme Court of India, Ragging in any form at any place on the Campus or outside , Especially in hostels is strictly Prohibited.
